A Fun Way to Teach Irregular Past Tense Verbs!

Irregular past tense verbs can be tricky for the little ones. Especially when they're speaking, you hear 'brang' and 'runned' and 'throwed' and 'drawed'... to name a few! What's more, many other students don't recognize the errors when they're listening to their peers. And since irregular past tense verbs are learned through repetition and memorization, you don't want your students repeatedly hearing the wrong verb forms and getting confused.

Enter... BANNED WORDS!

FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE BANNED WORDS PACK HERE!

This is SUCH a fun resource! We pretend that some words are 'banned' in the classroom. Students get a real kick out of remembering which words are allowed and not allowed. It's fantastic for memorization and repetition... without being boring!

You can even make these really sweet posters and keep adding new 'banned' words throughout the year.

And if your students need extra review, there are lots of fun worksheets and an engaging game to keep them on track!

And your students will be irregular past tense verb experts in no time! :)
